i had the paid version of pimpfish and it worked great, installed chrome for default browser and of course it won't work with chrome so i had to return to ie . internet explorer which inturn crashed and took pimpfish out with it. when reloading everything ie8 then required me to update pimpfish to use with ie8 and now i have no floatbar .i do not remember my original usernane nor password, but have found this experience quite a hassele. i would love to know how to get the floatbar back as there is no option for it in the options menu on the version that i am being provided with thanks

Floatbar is no longer part of PimpFish - to get it back you need to install the "old" PimpFish 2007.9 which is available here:

http://www.pimpfish.com/download_oldversions.html

Follow these steps:

1) Uninstall the version you have now
2) Install v2007.9
3) Go to PimpFih Options -->Troubleshooting Settings and check th checkbox next to "Disable Automatic Checks for Updates"

This will stop PimpFish bothering you about updating to the latest version all the time...

I tried what you mentioned above but still no Float Bar. How come there isn't a float bar for the new version? What do we use to grab just specific pics rather than all on a page?

That's the exact reason we removed FloatBar from the new 2010 version.. It doesn't work with Win7.

We might resurrect FloatBar at some point in the future, but for now you will have to live without FloatBar goodness, unfortunately

Please update and bring back the Floatbar asap. It works perfect on most pics and vids. I hate trying to move forward with Windows 7 but then put back with other things like the floatbar not working. Thanks.
