Grabbing From Password-Protected Sites
If you want to grab files from an HTTP or FTP site that requires a user name and password, you can tell PimpFish your user name and password so it can use them when downloading the files. Click the Password button on the toolbar, or the Set User/Password for Grabs item on the Grab! menu, and PimpFish will display the User Name and Password dialog:

The Site name field is pre-filled with the domain name of the page you are currently viewing. Enter your
user name and password in the fields below the site name. Now every time you download files from that site, PimpFish
will send the user name and password with the download request.
If you are having problems downloading from a password protected site try the following:
1. Make sure that your username, password and domain is correct
2. Make sure that you are logged in to the site through Internet Explorer
- Sometimes websites require this!
When you want to stop using a user name and password
for that site, if you are viewing the site you can click the Password button again, or the Stop Using
User/Password command on the Grab! menu. You can also click the Control button, click Options,
then go to the Passwords tab. For more information, see the Passwords options
help.
